Banana Pancakes with Chocolate Sauce
Everyone loves Brunch but it is sometime hard to find the balance of nice and naughty, these oat and banana pancakes do just that, enjoy pancakes with a kick of CBD
Makes four American style pancakes
2 ripe bananas
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup quick-cook oats(70 g)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Mash bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
Mix in eggs and vanilla until well combined, then mix in oats and cinnamon.
Heat a pan to medium and add in a half a cup of the pancake batter. Smooth out to form an even layer.
Cook for about 2-3 minutes until you start to see bubbles releasing from the top of the batter.
Flip and cook until the other side is golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 tablespoon liquid sweetener such as honey, maple syrup
3-6 drops of CBD Pure Oil Chocolate flavour
5 tablespoons water (more or less depending on desired consistency)
Place cocoa powder, CBD and liquid sweetener into a bowl add water and mix until correct consistency, it can take a moment for the cocoa power and water to mix.
Stack pancakes and garnish with chopped banana and chocolate sauce, why not add some chopped nuts.
