Morning Motivation

Its so important to kick start your motabalism with breakfast each morning, it can be hard to chose a healthy option when your on the go early. We have added two of our favourite on the go breakfast recipes which are both easy to make the night prior and just grab and go in the morning.

CBD Mixed Berry Smoothies

The perfect start to the day or for an energy hit throughout the day.

Ingredients:

1 cup frozen mixed berries

1 frozen ripe banana

1/2 cup low-fat vanilla yoghurt

3 – 6 Drops of CBD Pure Oil Mixed Berry flavour

1/4 cup orange juice, apple juice, skimmed milk, almond milk or coconut milk

1 teaspoon honey – optional for additional sweetness

Combine all ingredients together in a blender and puree until smooth. Add honey for additional sweetness, additional honey may be required if you have chosen to make your smoothie with a milk option.

CBD Overnight Oats

Overnight oats are easy to prepare the night prior and give an on the go option to a healthy breakfast, with so many topping options it would be hard to get bored with this great breakfast.

Ingredients:

Oats; Make sure to use plain old-fashioned oats as the consistency is best with rolled oats. You can also use gluten-free oats. We suggest half a cup of oats.

Liquid of choice; You can actually make this with water, a more popular choice is apple juice or natural yoghurt. You can also use milk plant-based milk like almond milk, coconut milk, cashew milk or oat milk. We suggest half a cup of liquid

CBD Oil; 3-6 drops of our CBD Pure oil in your chosen flavour.

Toppings; You can have some fun with fresh fruit, dried fruit, peanut butter, nuts, seeds and spices (like cinnamon, nutmeg or cardamom). There are so many topping choices it makes for a different breakfast every morning

Optional Extras; Chia seeds give loads of additional nutrition, vanilla extract and honey add additional sweetness without adding sweetener.

Directions:

Add your oats and liquid together, add the oats in layers to your chosen container with layers of your toppings. if you chose to use milk or juice as your liquid perhaps consider adding a little yogurt in each layer or as a topping for a more creamy consistency. Refrigerate over night, add some additional fresh fruit topping in the morning and enjoy.
